Kalithea Beach is situated only 9 km south of the City of Rhodes. The area is for sure among the gems of the island. This magical place and its blue crystal clear waters make swimming a real pleasure. It is perhaps one of the most beautiful places in Rhodes with its’ spa known from ancient times (7th century B.C.) to have therapeutic properties. Kallithea meaning “beautiful view” certainly lives up to its name!
Nowadays, Kallithea beach is fully renovated and beautiful, may no longer offer therapeutic healing waters. Nevertheless it still offer unlimited beauty and a spectacular beach for its visitors. It is a really heavenly spot with palm and pine trees.
